Fundamental Research Head

Role Overview

This role is ideal for a seasoned equity research professional looking to lead a high-impact fundamental research team and contribute meaningfully to investment outcomes and client value creation at Latin Manharlal Group. Lead research function & generate high-conviction investment ideas. Publish insightful research reports & actionable investment recommendations. Collaborate with investors, managements & market participants. Contribute to portfolio strategy & investment committee discussions. Uphold research integrity, compliance & best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth fundamental analysis of companies, industries & markets
• Develop and publish high-quality equity research reports and investment recommendations
• Identify long-term investment opportunities and emerging trends
• Build financial models and valuation frameworks
• Interact with company managements, industry experts, institutional investors and other market participants
• Ensure timely dissemination of research ideas and market insights
• Participate in investment committee meetings and contribute to portfolio strategy discussions
• Collaborate with sales, dealing & RM teams to support client engagement initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications

• CA / CFA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification
• 8–15 years of experience in Equity Research, Fundamental Research, Portfolio Management or Investment Advisory
• Proven track record of generating successful investment recommendations
• Strong understanding of Indian capital markets and regulatory framework
• Experience in leading and mentoring research teams is preferred
• Excellent financial modelling and valuation skills
